Your Guide

The Moat House Community Trust, a body to come out of the government's New Deal for Communities, approached TribeWeb to discuss the requirements for a residents' website.  There was an in-house graphic designer (Purple Patch) and a strong idea of what the site should accomplish both aesthetically and functionally.  The TribeWeb specification was then used as the model for obtaining other quotes.  Our quote, while not the lowest, was much more competitive than the higher quotes for such a thorough specification.
The work was completed before deadline and the site was so well received by the working group that phase two of its implementation was given to TribeWeb even before the official initial 'live' date.

Hollier and Sons

hollier

Hollier & Sons approached us to develop a website that would match their reputation as the leading independent garage in the Bournville & Birmingham area. We helped crystallise some of the branding and created a simple but effective logo and look for the site. A suitable template was selected that reflected the values of the garage as professional, cutting edge and yet accessible and friendly.

We decided to use library images where possible as these are shot and edited by professional photographers and are of a higher quality and give a better impression than 'home-made' photographs.

Content could be directly inserted by the client in development and also updated at any time.

The owners of Hollier and Sons had been so pleased with their last site that when they took on a new business, it was TribeWeb they looked to in order to develop their new site.  This site needed a very different look as it was a was a different business, so it was developed from the ground up.  TribeWeb also implemented the mail routing so that the communications for the two businesses could be kept separate yet be easily managed together.

Princethorpe College

Princethorpe College were interested in applying Web 2.0 solutions to some of the projects they wanted to develop.  One of these was using online surveys as a method of conducting questionnaires and taking information for bookings etc.  Alongside the actual projects was a keen desire to see more staff trained and equipped to use these new technologies.  As a result, a site was developed where staff could quickly find the instructions and links to tools they wanted to use.  The facility for staff to upload their own findings was also built in so that the site could grow in function and usefulness.

Northumberland Orchestral Society

nosThe Orchestra approached us when their previous webmaster (one of their members) resigned.  The old site that had been faithfully managed for years using Microsoft Frontpage needed an overhaul so that it could be updated much more easily and brought  up to date - and all at the lowest possible cost.

We took the old site as our starting point and totally redesigned the menus and facilities.  To keep costs down, we used the old content (photos) where we could and one of the members added and formatted much of the new content.

We included features such as Google Maps and made of use of Flickr as the administrative back end for the photo galleries in order to make the interface as easy to use as possible.

New Horizons Church

storehouse

This store was set up for New Horizons Church as a pilot scheme to see if an online store would be a good way of making resources available to its members.  A member of the office staff was trained to use the site and download the information into Quickbooks.  The site performed impeccably during the trial and development is set to continue.
